Nottingham Forest - Dream Big Assembly - January 2020
In January, Nottingham Forest Community Trust, along with Robin Hood, visited us to lead an assembly. They shared a quiz and showed us an animated feature film about the success of the Forest squad from the Clough era. The underlying message was inspiring- be determined, be ambitious and, above all, dream big.
More success for the school football teams!
Our Y5/6 girls team played in a tournament on Monday 1st October and finished third. The team won three and drew one of their four matches and only lost on penalties in the semi-final. Miriam was the top-scorer and all of the girls were a credit to the school.
The following evening, the boys team won their competition and earned a place in the Nottinghamshire County Final. The boys won four and drew one of their five matches and beat Ernehale 3-1 in the final. As always, the boys played with superb attitudes and sportsmanship.
Both teams will also be competing in a Gedling league this season.
